Whenever you try to send money internationally, it is insane that it basically goes into some untrackable black-hole for 6-7 days and then somehow appears in the recipient's account. Despite being a fully digital process it is so puzzling to see transferring money which is business critical take days to arrive?!?
Of course there are complexities of currency conversions, rates etc. which happen in between but it feels like a miracle because you have no idea how long it will take. I remember being a student and when international students had to pay tuition, it would be an anxious week for every one of us.
I experienced the same problem when I saw the international travel scenarios working at Expedia. Business owners waiting days for payments to settle and finalize making a stressful scenario worse especially during 2020 during covid.
